Working with the existing vocabulary of these mid 90’s structures to transform these buildings into a home more suited for their new owner. When arts philanthropist and founder of Round Top Center for the Arts, Nancy Freeman decided to build she chose this extraordinary site for her contemporary Bill Burlin design overlooking a beautiful section of the Damariscotta River close to the Great Salt Bay and the shell middens. The compound consists of the main house, studio, large 4-bay car and equipment barn, tool shed, and potting shed. The perimeters of the main house and separate studio building are large sliding glass doors, flooding the spaces with light and maximizing enjoyment of the view. To HISTORIC HOME ADDITION
