Some of the ways we have integrated recycled and salvaged materials into our designs are:
- using orginal bluestone foundation stones as veneer for new foundation
- repurposing original uninsulated front door as interior sliding door
- using barn door hardware salvaged from a dismantled barn for sliding door
- reusing salvaged wood for multiple design elements from an 1800's home that was dismantled piece by piece
- designing concrete countertops made from recycled material
- repurposing salvaged light fixtures
- Creating a headboard for a master bedroom made from an old door
- building a fireplace made from recycled brick
- tiling mosaic stair risers made from recycled tile
- installing a handrail salvaged from a chapel
- desing pantry doors using salvaged doors from original farm house
- building a kitchen island from salvaged wood wall planks
- installing wood flooring that was originally beams & columns from an old burbon mill
